Thought that I should post this pic of my sister, Laura, wearing her tiara, just to show where I began!!! She's gorgeous, hey!!!! Oh, and I made all the jewellery too, also embroidered the dress, but don't have a pic of that!!!
I made these celtic earrings to show off my cutting skills, I love these earrings and wear them often. Unfortunately my photography skills need work!!!
These are some of the things that I have made, beginning in order of progress.

This is what I made on the first course that I went on last year. That was when I realised that I had found what I wanted to do. Only took 20 years?!!!!!
I am beginning this blog to have a presence on the net, to track my progress, and to show off what I make to my friends!!! So here goes.....................
I have always loved earrings, I used to make them as a teenager, and then let it slide while I tried to find what I wanted to do with my life. Always on the sideline, I would be sewing, making clothes, then Teddy bears, then 3 or 4 years ago, my sister took me to a beading class. Well, I fell in love with making jewellery, and made her tiara, and did the embroidery on her wedding dress. I loved making bead jewellery, but just kept wanting to do more and more, until I got lucky enough to find someone willing to teach me metalsmithing. I felt like I had finally found what I was made to do. And I am still so passionate about it, I hope to make this my full time job, not just a hobby. I want this blog to be the story of how I get there.
